DIGITALIS LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ¡Vamos! Learn mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use ¡Vamos! Learn, you may provide the following information:

• Profile Data: Display name, preferred language settings (English or Japanese interface), and learning preferences.
• Learning Progress: Lesson completion data, quiz scores, vocabulary performance, streak counts, coin balances, and weak word lists stored locally on your device via SwiftData.
• Placement Test Results: Your assessed proficiency level used to personalize lesson difficulty.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and crash diagnostics.
• Usage Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns such as which lesson types are most popular, session duration, and feature engagement. This data is collected solely to improve the learning experience.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
• We do not collect precise location data.
• We do not collect photos, contacts, or data from other apps on your device.
• We do not use advertising identifiers or serve targeted ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver and personalize your Spanish learning experience, including adaptive lesson difficulty and spaced repetition scheduling.
• Track your learning progress, streaks, and achievements locally on your device.
• Power AI-assisted features such as the AI Tutor, AI Scenarios, and AI Cloze Reading for premium subscribers.
• Process in-app purchases and subscription management through Apple's StoreKit framework.
• Sync your learning data across your devices via iCloud (premium feature, opt-in).
• Improve the App's content, features, and performance.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your learning data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not maintain external servers or databases that store your personal learning data.

If you opt in to iCloud Backup (a premium feature), your data is synced through Apple's iCloud infrastructure and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

We implement industry-standard security practices to protect any data transmitted through the App.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

• Apple StoreKit: Processes subscriptions ($9.99/month or $79.99/year) and in-app coin purchases. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple and is never accessible to us.
• Apple iCloud: Optional cloud sync for premium users. Data is encrypted and managed by Apple.
• Apple Spotlight: Indexes lesson content for on-device search. This data remains on your device.

We do not share, sell, or rent your personal information to any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Camera Usage

The App includes a Camera Translate feature that uses your device's camera to recognize and translate Spanish text in real time. Camera access is requested only when you use this feature. Images are processed on-device and are never stored, uploaded, or transmitted to any server.

6. Children's Privacy

¡Vamos! Learn is a language learning app suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation, and all learning data is stored locally on the device. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

¡Vamos! Learn offers the following auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Monthly Premium: $9.99 USD per month
• Annual Premium: $79.99 USD per year (save 33%)

Subscriptions are processed and managed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

8. Data Export and Deletion

You can export your learning data (vocabulary, progress, and statistics) at any time through the App's Settings screen in CSV or JSON format. To delete all your data, simply delete the App from your device. Since data is stored locally, uninstalling the App permanently removes all associated data.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
